... Was easily my favorite movie of this year ^^ And 2nd favorite animated Disney film of all time:heart: (WARNING: Gushing and fan-gasming ahead!)

I saw it with my sisters and oldest niece yesterday, and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised~

It seems I've gotten too used to corny, predictable kids-based stuff all over animation media these days, so when the trailers for this movie came up I had little doubt it would be just as dumb as the advertising made it seem, instead I got a film that was actually very reminiscent of the old style Disney classics such as Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

The characters were all great(Elsa being my favorite, not just in this film but in Disney as a WHOLE, she's freaking amazing. And Anna is my new favorite Disney Princess as Elsa doesn't exactly count due to being a Queen canonically, and she's the most precious selfless thing I swear to god X3 their decision to have her voice actor as Kristen Bell couldn't have been more perfect. And Olaf{and omg, one of the few sidekick-type characters that doesn't jump between amusing and annoying me, and I also really appreciated the relevance he had in being a living reminder of Elsa and Anna's youth and past innocence},Kristoff and Sven are just adorkable~) the story, while shorter than I would've liked, was refreshing and really good, and even made some REALLY clever spins on typical "Disney cliches", one in particular being absolutely brilliant in my opinion without spoiling anything. And the songs... Freaking amazing, "Let it go" is EASILY the best song in the movie, and may I just say choosing Idina Menzel as Elsas voice actor may just be one of the best ideas Disney has EVER had? :meow: I just love her so much.
And "Do you wanna build a snowman" is almost as amazing and does a dramatic dip from endearing as hell to painfully heart-wrenching in the typical Disney style when it comes to their intros.(And honorable mention to For the first time in Forever, which showcased Anna in all her adorkable awesomeness, and the reprise of FTFTIF, so much power in that one~! Aswell as the highly underrated Frozen Heart and Vuelie, both doing great in starting up the film with quite abit forshadowing, and with the latter being very reminiscent of some of Circle of Life ^^) I even love the outtake songs that were introduced to the public in the Deluxe version of the Frozen soundtrack(yes, I loved the film so much I actually bought that XD I'm so hopeless~) but that's another story for another day~

The crowning jewel for this film is that its main focus is consistently on the bond between the two sisters Elsa and Anna, and how much they're willing to sacrifice for the others happiness and safety, which is a bond you (surprisingly) rarely see in Disney movies, and it really hits home for me as I too have a big sister whom is the closest person to me out of everyone I know:meow:.

All in all, this movie gets a solid 9.5/10 from me, only missing perfection due to feeling like it would've easily handled another 20 minutes or so worth of film without pushing it, and while I adore every single one of the songs in this film, yeah, they could've done abit better with spacing them out during the first act, most notably for the time period surrounding DYWBAS and FTFTIF. That and I would've liked if there had been more focus on Elsa aswell, as like I said earlier she's my favorite XD I'd also go on with how I'd have liked more background on Elsa's powers and all, but while it isn't a big deal on its own for me to be honest, as Disney has gotten away with even more out-there concepts without saying much to excuse them. The thing that almost bugs me about is is that in the beta versions of the story there WAS a decently well-put means of her having Ice abilities, and why they get so destructive when she's driven by emotion, but was apparently scrapped as it implied too much that Elsa would be a villainous character at some point, which of course, doesn't happen. Which I thought was actually a pretty good idea to not do that, as cool*no pun intended* as it might've been to see Elsa grow bitter towards the people whom had grown wary of her just for being different, making her consistently distraught and fearful of her own self made her a much deeper and sympathetic character in contrast to if she had just gone AWOL on us XD It also makes the payoff when she and the rest of the kingdom do come to terms with her all the more fulfilling, as from the start she never meant harm to anyone in acts outside of loss of control and/or self-defense.

But aside from that I adored this film to pieces, wonderful, memorable characters, amazing soundtrack, awesome story, and I'd gladly watch it again :3

...WAS AN EPIC MOVIE LIKE YEAH 8D

I just saw it like, an hour ago, and my god It was SO awesome!
That's the thing I love about Dreamworks, I don't think I can recall a single Dreamworks-made movie I've watched and didn't like, they're just that skilled, and this movie made no exception to that, I ADORED the characters (Santa was epic, Bunny was epic, Jack was epic and a total cutie, Tooth fairy was a sweetheart, and Sandy was just adorably awesome X3 I loved the villan too~)
If you guys haven't seen it, you totally should, and this is coming from someone who honestly thought it was gonna be kinda lame XD But then again, it's freaking Dreamworks, and they haven't done me wrong yet:heart:

Ps: I'm totally shipping Rainbow-Snowcone now, it's just too precious~X3

Hey everybody~! I've been following the Mini-Series Avatar:Legend of Korra for the past while, being a HUGE fan of the original Series, and I must say this series has been just as amazing as the last ^^

So I decided to express my love for this show by talking about the latest installment of the series, the season finale to be exact, called "Skeletons in the Closet+End Game"(Yes, I realize how late I am on this, but unfortunately I was unable to watch the special the day it aired since I had somewhere to go, so I had to wait until Nick had it on their site and such XP Sorry~)

AND OH MY GOD. IT WAS THE BEST FREAKING THING EVER. ALL MY FEELS,ALL OF THEM.

I've been like, high on the sheer awesome since I watched it, it was just....amazing:iconfinallyplz:

For once I don't believe I have a favorite scene, it was all so epic..:iconiloveyouplz:

To name a few I found especially great:

Asami vs. Mr Sato fight: Yeah, you go Asami~!:dummy: for one of the less-talked-about scenes, I found it to be awesome, mainly because it just had alot of Asami epicness X3 I love this character, and I feel bad for how much crap she gets throughout her time in the series, As much as I love Makkorra, I think Asami is really cool, I admit I wasn't a fan of her at first, since part of me was convinced she was like, an equalist-temptress-spy or something at first XD But after that one episode where she chose to go against her father instead of be evil with him, my respect for her leaped. She's surprisingly developed for someone who felt like such a side-character at first, but quickly became one of the regulars, and also one of my favorites:heart:

Amon/Noatok's Backstory: I actually felt bad for them ;.; mainly Tarrlok, which is odd, since I just HATED him after the episode where he threw the gang in jail and everything, but now that I know his story, I feel alittle bad for him. And the whole "Amon is my brother" thing COMPLETELY shocked me, my sister and I were watchingthe episodes together, and when that came up we both literally cried out "WHAT!?" in unison, shit you not XD It's funny, because beforehand we had been wondering if Amon and Tarrlok had some sort of connection in the past, like if they were allied or even the same person in disguise, but it never dawned on us they could've been related, so we were both mentally kicking ourselves for neglecting that thought.

Noatok/Amon and Tarrlok's deaths: This scene u; ultimately surprised the hell out of me, the buildup to it also made it pretty depressing too, especially when Noatok is like "You're all I have left." and then BAM! This scene a few minutes after. When Tarrlok got the glove I at first thought he was just gonna shock Noatok or something, but instead he goes and just blows up the boat. Damn..

Bumi: We must see more of this guy, enough said.

Korra in the Avatar State: FINALLY. I was so hyped at the near-end of the Episode when that happened, Korra was so badass~!! X3 It almost makes up for not seeing the Avatar state beforehand in the other Episodes, and the brief but epic Aang bit with the past Avatars was awesome:heart:(And I love that one line he says: "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest Change.") And the old-series-esque soundtrack to back it all up..the sheer nostalgia had me tearbending~ :'D

Iv'e noticed an equal amount of people who loved this scene also seemed to dislike this scene under the belief that Korra may have mastered the Avatar State the moment she learned how to use it, and also she is now a fully-realized Avatar and whatnot, which I really don't think is the case at all, for one thing, we just saw her in the Avatar State,  but we weren't told or shown much proof that she had perfected it, just used it, and another thing, I'm sure that scene wasn't meant to address her being a fully-realized Avatar, since she still isn't at this point anyways, as she hasn't yet Mastered Air, and she still needs to work on her spiritual stuff, plus the Avatar State itself, but instead was supposed to show she finally had a full connection to the side of her she had neglected for most of her life.

The Makkorra Kiss: Fuck.Yes. I absolutely adore this couple ^^(Though I admit, I find Borra really adorable aswell~)I admit, at first I didn't know how I felt about the two being together at first(this was my opinion prior to the episode where Asami appeared, so at that point I just felt it was guaranteed they would hook up XD) but I quickly grew to really love it:la: I put unbelievable amounts of concentration into not freaking out when Korra said "I love you too." It was just..!!:iconcheeringplz: I almost died from adorableness X3 As much as a douche Mako has been to Asami over the season, I couldn't help but forgive him alittle ^^'

Now that Season One is over, I'm really wondering what exactly the second Season will be about, since the main conflict of this Season is obviously, unable to be around to cause trouble anymore, and also the sheer fact that the finale had such a huge sense of closure that it felt more like a series finale then a season finale(because apparently the whole thing was only supposed to be one season, but it was so popular they reconsidered~)
It's been keeping me guessing since I finished watching the finale, so what do you guys think will happen next? feel free to comment your thoughts, and chioas~!
